Two Ways to Verify our SSL Certificate
To verify the current status of our SSL certificate:
Option 1: when you see https:// in the browser bar, click on the padlock. That will open a pop up box titled: store.padesky.com / Identity verified. Click on the Connection link and then click on Certificate Information. The pop up screen will display all our certificate information.
Option 2: on our Checkout page, in our footer, you will see the "PAIR - Point To Verify" seal. Click on the image and it will open a webpage that verifies our Site Credentials. It will also display the current day's date and time.
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
All store transactions are supported by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption, also known as secure order protection, secure certificate or digital certificate. Developed by Netscape, SSL is a protocol for securely encrypting and transmitting electronic information between web servers across the Internet, and is the most popular method for ensuring the secure transmission of credit card data and consumer information. When making payments, you will see a locked security icon on your browser to ensure you the transaction is encrypted.
When you submit your credit card information, it is processed through our credit card processing company on their secure server. They are a validated Level 1 PCI DSS Compliant Service Provider and are on Visa's Global Compliant Provider List and MasterCard's SDP List. They prohibit the storage of raw magnetic stripe, card validation codes or PIN block data. Also, cardholder data is stored using one of the most advanced encryption methods available. They use multiple encryption keys which are stored on different physical servers. Further they require all users to authenticate each time they use the application.
Our Pair / Comodo SSL Certificate guarantees the highest possible encryption levels for online transactions. Each certificate is signed with NIST recommended 2048 bit signatures and provides up to 256 bit encryption of customer data.
The actual encryption strength is determined by the level of encryption supported by your browser and our store website server. For example, the combination of a Firefox® browser and an Apache 2.X Web server enables up to 256-bit AES encryption.
Our SSL server meets the standards for the following Transport Layer Security Protocols which provide communication security over the Internet: TLS 1.2, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.0 (as reported by https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/)
During checkout, make sure you see the “https://” prefix in your browser bar, indicating that a secure session is under way.
